Access Team Valley has been developed to support the aims of the Team Valley Travel Plan Framework.
The problems with travel at Team Valley are plain to see: lots of cars, long queues at busy periods, and not enough parking in many places. These problems are common throughout the North East, but the Team Valley Travel Plan Framework is a step to try and change that.
It was developed by Faber Maunsell on behalf of the Highways Agency, to try and reduce the impact of traffic at Team Valley on the A1. The Framework is intended to help businesses on Team Valley work together to reduce the impact of travel, and to help individuals change how they travel. This should makeTeam Valley a better place to work for everyone.
What is a Travel Plan?
A travel plan is a strategy which seeks to reduce the impact of travel related to a development, by encouraging measures other than the car. It does this by putting measures in place to make travel by alternative modes easier and cheaper.
